The signs and symptoms of pregnancy are not unique – other conditions may cause similar signs and symptoms. However if you have any of the signs and symptoms associated with pregnancy, you should conduct a test to confirm that you are pregnant rather than assuming so. Often women claim that they know once they have conceived and while there may be a an extra-sensory perception of your pregnant state, only a blood or urine test can conclusively confirm pregnancy.
